你可利用 [latex] … [/latex],在留言中輸入數式,而如果不熟悉 LaTeX 語法的話,你可透過 HostMath 編輯數式,然後複製至 [latex] … [/latex] 的省略號位置。另外,你還可以控制數式的各種格式,以下是幾個例子:

例子 1  用 [latex] … [/latex] 的話,數式會與文字並列。

輸入: The famous quadratic formula is [latex] x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} [/latex] and I am sorry that you have to memorize it.

顯示: The famous quadratic formula is x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} and I am sorry that you have to memorize it.

例子 2  用 [latex display="true"] … [/latex] 的話,數式會獨立一行置中顯示。

輸入: The famous quadratic formula is [latex display="true"] x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} [/latex] and I am sorry that you have to memorize it.

顯示: The famous quadratic formula is x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}       and I am sorry that you have to memorize it.

例子 3  加插 \small \large 或 \huge,改變數式大小。

輸入: [latex display="true"] \small x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} [/latex]

顯示:  \small x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

輸入: [latex display="true"] \large x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} [/latex]

顯示:  \large x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

輸入: [latex display="true"] \huge x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} [/latex]

顯示:  \huge x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

例子 4  加插 \begin{aligned} … \end{aligned},然後在等號前輸入 &,令置中數式的等號對齊。

輸入: [latex display="true"] \large \begin{aligned}
      2x + 3 &= 7 \\\\   (\\意思是開新一行,\\\\即隔一行,\\\\\\即隔兩行)
      2x &= 4 \\\\
      x &= 2
      \end{aligned} [/latex]

顯示:  \large \begin{aligned} 2x + 3 &= 7 \\\\ 2x &= 4 \\\\ x &= 2 \end{aligned}
